Bad news: I didn’t audition for the play. Too tired, too much work.
Good news: My comic is finished and was very well-received, AND I get to sleep as much as I want/need tonight! Hooray for sleep!

Goodness me, so much going on here!
-I animated from a live model for the first time ever today! It was fun, and most of the challenge was just the need to draw quickly (the model held each interval of movement for a minute, so we had to get the figure and lighting and props down in just one minute).
-There’s an animator coming in to do a series of workshops with animation students soon...

Last night Sarah and I made homemade meatballs and spaghetti while listening to Italian opera music, and then ate our dinner in front of The Sopranos. It was so awesome that we decided this shall be a tradition that we do on the first Friday of every other month or so, and we shall call it Italian Friday.

Today’s animation class was awesome! We animated a lava lamp and a person doing a roundhouse kick (the lava lamp one was from observation and the kick was from a mega slowed down video). Next week we’re going to a lecture at Harvard that’s by some animator dude.

I GOT INTO DRAWING FOR ANIMATORS!
I am sooooooo happy! Not only am I in 4 classes (soon to be in 5 because I need a Time class), but one of them is an animation class. And I was so worried I wouldn’t get in that I’m pretty sure I looked like a kid in a candy factory (or child-me in a potato chip factory) when my professor told me I was in.
