Classes!
Well, it’s snowing out, it’s 9:45, I’m dressed and washed, and have nowhere to be until 11:00, so I thought this might be a good time to post. Ideally, I’d be writing this down in the common room whilst making myself a nice hot cup of cocoa, but I don’t believe I can plug into the internet down there. So I shall stick to my nice warm bed.
I don’t have any...

A Real Update
Saturday: The drive to Bard went as smoothly as ever; it’s always 3 hours on the dot from Framingham to Redhook (right outside of Annandale-on-Hudson). Dad, Anne and I grabbed lunch at a place right outside the center of Rhinebeck and then went to school for checking in and unloading. The check-in was super easy; there weren’t many people on campus yet, so there was no line. We just...
Edit
I wrote my schedule wrong: Cybergraphics is from 1:30-4:30, cutting into French which starts at 4:00. And although Cybergraphics lab is 1:00-4:00, I thought for some reason that it was the kind of thing where we don’t have to go the whole time, it’s just the hours when we can go and use the computers for projects, and therefore it’s okay that I have a class that cuts into some of...
Schedule, and a slight shower rant
I just took a WAY CHILLY shower, which woke me up enough to at least post my schedule right now (by the way, it was one of the most unpleasant college showering experiences, but I’m hoping that the shower across the hall will be better and all will be lovely and nice. First of all, the bathroom has an air vent that’s always on no matter what, pumping cold air around the room....
I will write lots and post lots of pictures soon soon soon I promise. It’s just that right now I am EXHAUSTED. Part of me thinks I should just go to bed now and shower in the morning, but now that I’m extra sleepy, I’m getting that thing where your thoughts become increasingly negative as the night goes on. Like, I know that I am completely not homesick or anything near homesick,...

Well that's just wonderful.
I went on Facebook when the election results came out, and this is what I saw on my News Feed. I think these reactions sum it all up pretty well:
Jesse: Massachusetts has elected an immigrant hating, anti-gay marriage, torture supporting, sexist, anti-abortion, racist pig for Senate. Goodbye to health care… What is the world coming to?
Alison: and the day after a federal holiday to...
The Library
It’s unofficial, impromptu bring your daughter to work day here at the library. I woke up at 11:30 this morning, a new vacation sleep-in record (because usually my dog wakes me up around 9-10ish or I go to sleep earlier in the evening). It felt great and I thought it’d be another better-be-as-lazy-as-possible-now-because-classes-start-on-Monday kind of day, when mom came home from her...
