This is just one of those moments when everything is perfect. It’s snowing outside, I had a relaxing and productive morning, I just finished my art history essay, I’ve got a mug of hot cocoa at hand and no classes to rush off to, and there’s still plenty of time left in the day to get my script ready for tomorrow.

Productivity
Yeterday, I took and aced my Early Christian/Byzantine art history test, rented a camera for my Time project, wrote a 6-page script for Thursday, figured out what to write my art history paper about (the liturgical homilies of St. Gregory of Nazianzus) and did a ton of research, wrote up material for the paper, and got much farther in my animation. YEAH! Feels good. Rarely do I get as much done on...

There are two types of people in the world: those who can’t help but laugh along with the SNL cast members as they continually break character and those who are cynics and refuse to have fun and think sloths aren’t adorable.
This sketch was a complete mess, yes. BUT it was also the funnest sketch I’ve seen on SNL in a long while. And I am completely head...

In Case You Missed It of the Day: Speaking of which, Amy Poehler returned to Saturday Night Live last night to reunite with former Weekend Update co-host Seth Meyers for a special birth-control segment of “Really?!?” which delved into all the wacky, anachronistic mishegas the Republicans were up to this week.
On the one hand, I hope Amy returns to Weekend Update more often. On...

Happy Belated Valentine’s Day, world! My Valentine’s day was quite full. I pretty much had class all day long, from morning until 9 at night, but it was great. Time was kind of uninteresting. In Figurative Clay we started our skulls, which was fun and satisfying. My professor showed us what our finished products will look like, and even though this class is all about learning through...
Just say no to caffeine, folks! Sarah warned me that my Starbucks drink had a shot of espresso in it and I’d figured it wouldn’t really effect me but I am SOooOooOoooOO JITTERY! Also speed-whistling like nobody’s business! I didn’t realize it until I got off the phone with my sister and realized I’d probably been talking a mile a minute. Oops!! No more caffeine pour...

Bad news: I didn’t audition for the play. Too tired, too much work.
Good news: My comic is finished and was very well-received, AND I get to sleep as much as I want/need tonight! Hooray for sleep!

Goodness me, so much going on here!
-I animated from a live model for the first time ever today! It was fun, and most of the challenge was just the need to draw quickly (the model held each interval of movement for a minute, so we had to get the figure and lighting and props down in just one minute).
-There’s an animator coming in to do a series of workshops with animation students soon...
